Staff Profile - Frida W. Karani
Abstract
Ms. Frida Karani is a graduate of Sociology/Social Work from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa and her Master’s in Business Administration (Strategic Management) from the Kenya Methodist University. She is an expert in organization development and management with a special interest in the not-for-profit and non-governmental organizations and has published on the same http://www.irmbrjournal.com/archives2.php?vol=3&iss=2&yea=2014&ver=5. Previously she was Coordinator - School of Business and Economics and Ag. Coordinator – School of Social Sciences at Mount Kenya University. She currently serves as Coordinator – Student Affairs, providing prolific vision and leadership in matters pertaining to the wholistic development of students at Embu University. In addition, she is a lecturer in the School of Education and Social Sciences and in management studies and a champion of national integration and cohesion. She has 10 years’ work experience 5 years in organizational practice and 5 years in university teaching. She is also a life and career counsellor with extensive experience with the youth and community outreach.
