This research project was conducted to evaluate the factors influencing broilers production among small scale farmers in Kabatini ward, Nakuru. This research project aimed at bridging the gap in the performance of broilers to help local farmers and the general county to understand the impediments that deprive maximum production and enterprise development of broilers. There has been no adequate research on broilers production enterprise development as many researchers work on generality. The study was carried out as a field research by administering questionnaire to the farmers and interviews including observation of various farmers’ practices. This project was evaluating the factors such as: how of cost implications, availability of market and literacy levels influence production of broilers. This research will be helpful to the poultry farmers who have ventured into the poultry enterprise or are willing to start either in the ward, county, country and worldwide. There was also data analysis by use of correlation to ascertain relationship between variables, data presentation in form of frequency tables. The researcher also carried out further analysis using regression. This was to ascertain the effect of literacy level, market availability, cost of feeds on the dependent variable (flock size). There was also suggestion for further study, conclusion and recommendations.en_US
